Sepdet had just been promoted from assistant to official Groundskeeper, following her return from her Rite of Passage. This was the first time Sepdet found herself having to assert dominance — against Echen, of all people!

Sepdet says she’s thirteen, but her birthday was only two days earlier.

A Day in the Life of a Cub

This is one of my favorite dino logs, although almost nothing happens!

Sepdet is asked into Renaissance by Toxic. Later on, Sep and Tep go out to the caern, where she gives Jess a Tarot reading, talks to Wilhelm and sees Thoth and Hoggie. But the best part of the log is a confrontation between Lyta, Toxic, and Hecate, where Lyta has to browbeat Hecate, and Toxic has to accept the submission of the proud Fury, who happens to be more than a friend.

Feb 23, 1994: “Sad Afternoon at the Caern”

Summary: The sept mourns the departure of the alpha, Horus, gone to Malfeas to try to rescue the Warder, Aspen, taken by the Enemy during the opening of the caern.

Notes: One of my few logs from the days of VAX. Sepdet had been on the MUSH for a week or so, and had been adopted by Renaissance (Toxic, Storm, Anpwhotep, and Ilyera.)

Seneca Falls was a Fury pack from the Sept of Gaia’s Bones, called in by Adrian Nightrunner, the new Warder, to bolster the caern’s defenses. Adrian had acted without telling anyone, and the Furies’ arrival was causing friction.
