Sepdet By the Nile ’94

Sepdet at age 13. This my favorite portrait of her, the sketch that really set her face in my mind. Ah, innocent young thing that she was back then! Already with several battlescars.

CAERN TOTEM SPIRITS

The Wheel Renewed had three totem spirits: honor, wisdom, and strength. They were great, becase most Garou could relate to one or two of them in a personal way. Sepdet’s favorite was wise (and mischievous) Magpie. Click for full-sized images.

Sepdet: Original Character Sketch (March ’94)

My first portrait of her five forms. Pre-cornrows, she was rather Gnawerish.

Sepdet’s Moon-Knife

This was Sepdet’s father’s fetish, a little gnosis-storing flint knife. She sacrificed it to help restore the wards after a bane attack.

Pack Renaissance ’94

Fallen friends…

Renaissance v. 1.5: Dia Fire-Drums, Sepdet, Anpwhotep, Katlyn Passes-the-Hat, Toxic (Alpha).
The totem is Kit, a coyote-spirit.

Jackals

“Coyote Kid”

Not-quite-as-good portrait of Sepdet. (’95)

Pack Renaissance ’95

Eris (Fury Galliard), Sepdet, Anpwhotep (Alpha), Noor (Strider no-moon)

Long Running

Sepdet in Crinos. (Signs are her name written right to left)

Sepdet in Hispo

Harbinger Test

A quick sketch drawn immediately after Sepdet’s Harbinger test, Jan ’96. Most of this is secret or too obscure to interest anyone, but FWIW:

Horus is the one-eyed figure with the staff.
Wepuawet (God/spirit) is main central figure.
“In the Garden stands a friend / Thine ally” is Warren Ramsey (Ramses, Shepitra), a coroner, gardener, and — mummy!
The jars refer to recently dead or soon to die members of the Sept.
The raccoon is Mask, mourning some departing members of his pack Crossing. (Sepdet soothed him with, “There will be more shinies.”)
The seven hooded figures are seven Striders Sepdet met at the end of the world. Mostly Wheel Renewed Striders, a couple Wheel of Ptah.

“One does not fight truth.” Sepdet’s first words after she was revived from death.

Okay, back to normal stuff.

Sitting By the Firepit ’96

Sepdet as alpha of Whispers on the Wind and Groundskeeper. Grown up, finally.

Shift

Another attempt to show Sepdet’s different forms.

Groundskeeper Keeping Watch

Another typical portrait of mature Sepdet. ’96

Chloe Dusev

A Verbena mage, Purity’s child, whose spirit-magic overawed Sepdet as a young Seer. Sepdet spent a lot of time saving her bacon (and vice versa!), but eventually the Garou killed Chloe as a “Warper.”

“Chloe” (1998)

Another old portrait. Needs to be more Rom, curly hair.

“Shinies”

Sepdet negotiates with Mask (Crossing’s totem spirit) who has swiped the necklace-charms she wears. Sepdet was never a member of Crossing (original pack defending Lake Arthur), but always very close to them and their totem.

“Glabro”

Not entirely successful experiment… what does Glabro look like? Rather Pini-esque, apparently!

“Desert Secrets”

Yay Bryce 3D modelling program! This was a challenge, but it worked!

Sepdet in Umbra? (2001)

Another Bryce experiment. Alas, I found this actress who was a model for Sepdet as a child, then the actress grew up and became a twit. I can’t remember her name any longer.

“She Wonders” (2000)

No Dylan to braid her hair anymore, and Sepdet’s got a battlescar that makes it difficult.

Mature Sepdet (2001)

Apparently she found someone else to help.

“The Seer” (2002)

My favorite recent portrait. Face is a bit young, but it captures who she is now.

Lake Arthur

Territory of pack Crossing, later of Ouroboros. Chloe was buried on the island.

This would never have worked, but it was fun to do. (Windows are a GarouMUSH window and the old GarouMUSH official site). Click for full-size.
